Congratulations to Dr. Liu Yuansheng from our academy for winning first prize at the Shaanxi Physics Society’s 80th Anniversary Celebration Conference and 2024 Academic Annual Meeting with his paper titled “The Differences Between Chinese High School Physics Curriculum and IB, NCEA, and CIE Curricula: Diversity and Unity in Educational Philosophy“.

Dr. Liu is a Ph.D. graduate from Tsinghua University, renowned physics teacher, and young scientist. He completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in the Physics Department of Shaanxi Normal University, followed by a doctorate from Tsinghua University. With nearly 15 years of physics teaching experience, he integrates professional educational concepts into practical teaching, making learning enjoyable. He is well-received by students and parents, has been recognized multiple times as an advanced educator at provincial and municipal levels, and has won first prize in physics and chemistry teaching competitions. During his doctoral studies, Dr. Liu focused on biophysics and biomaterials, leading and participating in three national projects and obtaining national patents. He is currently dedicated to inspiring young people’s interest in science, fostering a focus on fundamental science education in the younger generation, improving high school students’ physics skills and knowledge, and enhancing their academic performance.
